Why I built this Work in progress

I built this dashboard to understand where drone as first responder programs are across the country and where they actually fly. Holding an FAA waiver is only the start. I wanted to see how much of each city or county the drones really cover, and which aircraft and platforms agencies are choosing, to understand how specific DFR products are being adopted.

42 states (shaded on the map) have been researched agency by agency. Other states are next, and the data will keep improving as it is checked. Basil Yap

Where they fly

Find DFR programs and the equipment they fly. Pick an aircraft maker or DFR platform to filter the map and color each agency by its equipment, with sources for every claim. Agency-by-agency research covers 42 states (shaded on the map) so far. Dots are agencies with the FAA's 91.113 public-safety drone waiver. Click any agency for details, or type a name and press Enter.
